Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School Director position is being held by Mr. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet ÖZMEN has been appointed as the Director of Bucak Zeliha Tolunay School of Applied Technology and Business Administration. Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School Directorate has been assigned to Mr. Dr. Lecturer Zekeriya AKIN, who has been serving as the deputy director in our school for a long time.

At the handover ceremony held on Wednesday, 04.01.2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet ÖZMEN said that administrative duties in universities are like a relay race, every administrator wants to carry the flag further, although separations are always sad, renewal always brings success, and thanked the administrative and academic staff during his tenure and wished success to the new director.

In his speech, Dr. Lecturer Zekeriya AKIN, who took over the duty, said; I have been working at Hikmet Tolunay since 2000, and since 2007 I have been serving as deputy director, now the University Administration has deemed the Directorate appropriate, I will try to fulfill the given duty in the best way, I thank our esteemed teacher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet ÖZMEN very much, we will continue our duty in the best way from where our teacher left off.

At the end of the handover ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet ÖZMEN thanked the Deputy Directors and the School Secretary for their work and presented plaques. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet ÖZMEN and Dr. Lecturer Zekeriya AKIN congratulated each other on their new duties and presented flowers and plaques.
